6 Foods to Avoid That Trigger Acne

There are some misconceptions and myths of the causes of pimples and the acnes on the skin. Most are false. For this reason, seek advice from a professional.  Avoid these foods also as they may trigger acne on the skin.

  1. Shell fish

Avoid the product as it can cause the breakout of acne and pimples after a long time of use. This is because of the high amount of iodine. However, breakouts of the pimples are only possible after a long time of using the products. If you are acne prone after using the product, avoid regular use. This tip is also essential for the treatment of acne.

  1. Dairy Products

Earlier on, there was the belief that drinking or taking dairy products is a healthy option for the skin. This is however not the case.  Research indicates that there are harmful effects of using the products on the skin.  The use of dairy products regularly is one cause of breakout of acne on the skin.  The products have effects of increasing hormones in the body.  Some of the hormones affected act in increasing pimples and acne on the skin.  If your skin is prone to pimples and acne, it is vital to use products that are non-dairy. There are many options for such products.  The other types of milk you can use are hemp milk, coconut milk, rice milk and almond milk. These are essential and better options instead of suing the dairy products.

  1. Soy

The product can cause some imbalances in the system.  The imbalance of the hormones is one of the acne and pimple causes on the skin. The products result to acne on the jaw line or around the mouth. If you notice the acne or pimples in these areas, the soy products could be the causes.  Some people also have skins that are more sensitive to the soy products than others. If this is the case, ensure to check labels for the products you purchase. This is essential for prevention of the pimples and the acnes.

  1. Tomatoes and Vinegar

Salsa is considered and termed as better and healthier food options compared to many other foods. This is due to the low amount of the present calories.  Also, they have enough and sufficient fiber that the body requires.  However, the vinegar and the tomatoes are acidic in nature and can cause acne or pimples breakouts. If the use of the products triggers acnes and pimples on your skin, it is essential to stop the use of the two. However, some people skins’ are more sensitive while others are less sensitive to the products. The products can be safe for those people whose skin is less sensitive. Commencing treatment for acne immediately, you note pimples on the skin is vital.

  1. Fatty Acids

Some fatty acids are vital and important for the body. However, others are responsible for acne breakouts.  They can result to inflammation and, therefore, lead to the presence of pimples on the skin.  Lack of the balance in the omega 3 and the omega 6 fatty acids can be a major cause of the breakouts of acnes and pimples.  Some people tend to take a lot of Omega 6 and less of Omega 3. Increasing Omega 3 fatty acids intake is vital for preventing breakouts.

  1. Sweets and Carbohydrates

Sugar is responsible for spiking the blood sugar.  This leads to increase in the oil production in the skin.  The oils increase the chances of suffering pimples and acne.  It is advisable to reduce the intake of sugars, chocolate and carbohydrates.

Notably, the diet choices you make may result to the breakout of acne and pimples on your skin.  It is essential to eliminate and avoid the intake of the foods that cause the pimples and acne. Keep away from all those products that may be causing your acne. Also, pay more attention and be careful of the products you choose for your skin.
